Our students come from all over the U.S. and several foreign nations. They choose MLC for the quality education they receive, but they find their experience is more than classroom learning. They build lifetime friendships with faculty, staff and fellow students.
Our faculty comprises an exceptional group of interesting people who come from all over the U.S. Approximately 50 percent hold doctoral degrees in their fields of study. They take the time to get to know and understand you. During the course of your college career, you'll find that they become more than just your teachers; they become your mentors and friends. Our academic program will challenge you to explore your beliefs, to learn about something you didn't even know you were interested in, and to broaden your understanding of the world. You will leave MLC with a well-rounded education, ready to pursue your career or advanced education. Whatever path you choose, the skills and abilities you develop at MLC will prove advantageous throughout your life. The Warriors compete in 17 intercollegiate sports as part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Great Plains Athletic Conference. More than a third of our students participate in intercollegiate sports and two-thirds of our students participate in intramural sports. You will find a variety of honors clubs, and service and social organizations at MLC, including student government, fraternities and sororities, departmental organizations, theatre, forensics, band and choir. You may choose to participate in multiple organizations, or focus on one. |
