Richmond International College (RIC) was founded in 1991. RIC operates two year college programs in Applied Business Technology, Business Administration, and Hospitality & Tourism.

RIC offers university transfer courses to students for whom English is a second language. It also offers career preparation and English-as-a-second-language programs.

Students from Asia, Latin America and Europe are invited to join Canadian students to study in an international setting. Special emphasis is placed on international cooperation and peaceful coexistence among nations. Community and institutional linkages are being established locally and internationally. Specific school linkages include institutions in France, Mexico and Japan. Traditional instruction is enhanced by computer and information technology.

The campus of the college is situated on seven acres of land. Located conveniently by Vancouver International Airport, the fast growing and prosperous surrounding community of Richmond is unique in the North American context as it provides a meeting ground for people and businesses from Europe, North America and Asia.

RIC is accredited by the Private Post Secondary Education Commision of British Columbia.
