About the courses

Malvern House College is considered by many to be the best English school in London. The faculty provides both UK University Pathway and Business Programmes for students from all the corners of the world. Students enrolling in the college are required to take an Entry Level Test designed to gauge their current skill level and determines which study centres they will attend. Once the students are admitted, they can select from a variety of courses such as the ones listed below.

General English
A core programme that helps students develop their communication skills and improve their fluency. The course focuses on the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing with complimentary classes for grammar and vocabulary.

Fast Track - Intensive English
For students who want a fast learning curve and those who require individual attention. Classes are limited to a maximum of eight students which ensures more time for individual support from the teacher.

Cambridge Exam Classes
A course that focuses on passing the Cambridge Examination. The classes go through an in-depth study of the different aspects of General English and also include special lectures on exam techniques. This course is intended for advanced students and all applicants must pass an Exam Entry Test before starting the course.

IELTS Exam Preparation
This class focuses on developing multiple skills such as essay writing, perfecting speaking skills as well as describing and interpreting graphs and charts. Like other exam classes, students need to complete an Entry Test before being accepted and must carry out their assignments during the evenings.

Business English
A functional and task based program tailor-made for professionals who use English in the course of their work. The course focuses on increasing both skill and confidence with the language to achieve greater levels of fluency in social and business settings. Business skills that are focused on include telephone conversations, negotiating, making presentations and writing reports.

University Foundation Programmes
The Foundation Courses are a set of classes to prepare students who wish to follow an undergraduate degree at a UK university. The students are given both skills to assist their studies as well as guidance on their university applications and other related paperwork. The course is geared towards degrees related to either business or tourism.

Pre-Masters Programme
Specifically designed for students who are looking to follow a Masters degree at a UK university; includes special guidance on the university application during course hours. The course is tailored to students who have already completed an undergraduate degree in their own country and want to pursue a Masters in business or tourism.

ABE Diploma in Business Management
A prestigious international qualification in Business Management. The course is divided into two parts which can be completed separately (but both need to be completed before the qualification is awarded.) This course has an excellent reputation for advanced students who wish to take their skills to the next level (recommended IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.)
