About the School
King Street College was opened in 1988 with the aim of providing high quality, value for money English language courses for international students. We have a large school building with 14 class rooms and a lovely garden in Shepherds Bush, in west London. The school has excellent transport connections to central London, Heathrow airport and is in a good, safe residential area.
The success of the college means that we now have over 500 students, all year round, from over 50 different countries. As the college has grown we have tried to maintain a high level of personal attention while offering the benefits of a large college.
Students have access to a range of services. Our accommodation department is able to find somewhere for you to say during your studies, and our welfare officers can help you with any questions you have or problems you experience regarding life in London. We can also provide students with insurance, student discount cards, and advice about how to get the most out of life in the UK. The school has its own coffee bar.
At KSC we recognise that your course is only a part of your stay in London. We run an active social programme, organising parties, barbeques, theatre visits and trips to other parts of the UK and Europe. We hope you will have the opportunity to experience British culture and make lots of new friends at the same time.
Lots of our students think that KSC is the friendliest school in London. We hope you think so too!
