About the University of Durham
Durham University is the third oldest in England, after Oxford and Cambridge and is established on the same collegiate basis. Durham has maintained its leading role among universities through its unswerving dedication to the pursuit of excellence in all fields.
Established in 1965, the Durham Business School has developed an international reputation for its innovative approaches to business education and enterprise development. It is an integral part of the University and maintains a close relationship with business and commerce.
The activities of the Business School have recently been integrated with the departments of Economics and Finance and the Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprise Development to form a new Business School. This provides a larger multi-disciplinary School. Faculty specialisms include Strategy, Organisational Behaviour, Public Policy, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Management.
