Dublin School of English
The Dublin School of English was founded and recognised by the Irish Department of Education in 1968 and is one of the leading English Language Schools in the world. It is an independent school that prides itself on giving a complete and quality service to its clients.
The main campus is situated in the centre of Dublin in the Temple Bar area, close to Trinity College, Dublin University. It is ideally located for exploring Dublin's cultural and social life. During the summer months other locations are used both in the city centre and in modern colleges in the suburbs.
English tuition is given by trained tutors experienced in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Most of our tutors have several years experience teaching abroad, and all have at least a university degree and a TEFL diploma. Video and taped material is widely used during class. A media library is available for private study. Textbooks and materials for all courses are included in fees.
On our standard Courses the average number of students in a group is 12, with a maximum of 15. On the other courses numbers in a group vary according to the course selected. Groups of two, three or four persons are available. We also have a wide range of Individual Courses where tuition is on a one-to-one basis.
