Master in International Business
WHU’s Master in International Business is designed for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in business-related fields such as business engineering, business psychology, business law, tourism, hotel/hospitality management, or sports management.
This full-time English program has a duration on 21 months and broadens management skills by opening the door to a global mindset. The program allows students to bring theory to practice in real-life cases and offers an international experience.
Core modules include: International Strategy, International Accounting, Managerial Economics, International Marketing Management, International Trade & Investment, Modern Tools and Applications of Data Science, Managing the Global Supply Chain, International Business Negotiations, Psychology of Leadership
As well as various electives:
Product Development, Economics of Financial Markets, Current Topics in Accounting, Visual Prototyping, Building and Scaling Successful Companies, Financial Risk Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Financial Derivatives, Household Finance, Strategy Execution, Leadership in Practice, Luxury Brand Management, Operations Analysis and Control, Web Mining, Sustainable Operations Management, Advanced Supply Management.
The Master of Science program includes a semester abroad at one of WHU's 200 partner universities worldwide as well as an internship. From day one, the WHU Career Center supports students in developing your potential for a successful and seamless transition into the working world.
The WHU Career Center organizes a comprehensive range of activities and provides personal career counseling.
Admission to the Master in International Business
Candidates with an academic degree with at least 40 ECTS credits in business courses
Admission requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 180 ECTS
- At least 12 weeks of relevant practical experience
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS)
- Proof of strong analytical and quantitative skills (GMAT/GRE/TM-BASE)
- International experience of about 3 months
- Successful completion of WHU admission test
