Master in Finance
The Master in Finance is a rigorous full-time international and specialized Master of Science program in the field of finance, which provides fundamental skills and knowledge of financial markets, and a deeper understanding of theories surrounding modern finance. Our program will prepare students for a successful career across all landscapes in finance.
The program offers
a 90-credit track (for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree with at least 210 ECTS credits) which has a duration of 17 month including a one-week international module, the capstone module.
The 120-credit track is for students who have completed a 180 ECTS credit bachelor’s degree. This 21-months program includes a semester in either the Master or MBA program at one of our 200 partner universities.
The program allows students to bring theory to practice in real-life cases and offers an international experience.
Core modules include: Financial Econometrics, Capital Market Theory, International Financial Reporting.

Admission to the Master in Finance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 180 ECTS
- At least 12 weeks of relevant practical experience
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS)
- Proof of strong analytical and quantitative skills (GMAT/GRE/TM-BASE)
- International experience of about 3 months
- Successful completion of WHU admission test
