Admission requirements | When applying for admission to the International Management Institute, applicants must submit a completed application form, hold an undergraduate degree or its equivalent, and submit official GMAT scores. A TOEFL score is required of applicants for whom English is not their native language. Non-European Union applicants must apply for a student visa and must have financial guarantees in the form of letters from sponsors & bank certificates. |

The programs offered by IMI meet the challenges of an ever-changing and complex international business environment. BBA, Bachelor of Business Administration The Bachelor of Business Administration program provides a general education in business. By following the case method, the students have the opportunity not only to gain a broad understanding of business and organizational problems through specialized courses, but also to observe effective solutions firsthand. In the four-year program, all aspects of international business and marketing are taken into consideration. A special focus is placed on Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Information Systems and Languages. Many of our students go on to graduate programs at one of our international campuses; many others choose to undertake their graduate work at European or American universities. Admission Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. BA, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication and Public Relations The Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication and Public Relations program combines the basic courses in Business Administration with specific courses in Communication and Public Relations. The program imparts instruction and prepares students to find solutions and to make recommendations regarding real-life management and communication corporate problems. The following specialized courses are included in the syllabus: Professional Communication Dynamics, Advertising, Non-Verbal Communication and Media Selection and Research. Many of our students go on to graduate programs at one of our international campuses; many others choose to undertake their graduate work at European and American universities. Structure and length of the program: Four-year program Admission Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent BIS, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems The four-year program in Information Systems was designed to meet the growing need for professionally-trained people with a broad array of technical skills coupled with management knowledge and tools. By following the case method, the students have the opportunity not only to gain a broad understanding of business and organizational problems through specialized courses. The curriculum combines theoretical courses with exercises and business applications on computers. From the introductory courses that lay the necessary foundation for understanding the more complex microprocessor and computer systems, students progress to courses in Data Base Management Systems, Information Systems Management, and Computer Architecture. Many of our students go on to graduate programs at one of our international campuses; many others choose to undertake their graduate work at European and American universities. Structure and length of the program: Four-year program. Admission Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. MBA, Master of Business Administration The Master of Business Administration is a graduate program covering the main aspects of business and preparing the future manager for the demands of an international business career. The emphasis is placed on International Finance and Marketing, as well as on Human Resources. Of course, a solid foundation in the traditional management disciplines is established before the student embarks on the more complex analyses of international operations. The purpose of the program is to prepare graduates: To manage organizations effectively irrespective of their size, infrastructure, corporate mission, or sphere of influence and to think in global terms. To master interpersonal and social dimensions of managerial problems, technological development, environmental issues, etc. Structure of the program: The MBA program consists of three ten-week terms. GMAT (Exceptionally GMAT Examinations can be taken while studying at The IMI) MA, Master of Arts in Business Communication and Public Relations The MA program, Master of Arts in Business Communication and Public Relations, is a graduate program combining the basic courses in Business Administration with specific courses in Communication and Public Relations. Communication is a prerequisite for the effectiveness of any organization. Through a syllabus combining several key courses from the MBA program with courses concerning the theory and implementation of communication and public relations, our graduates are prepared to develop their careers in the global marketplace. Structure of the program: The MA programs consists of three ten-week terms. Language: English Length: One year full-time or two years part-time. Schedule: Weekdays every evening Number of Subjects: 15 Admission Requirements: Bachelor Degree, GTMAT MIS, Master of Science in Information Systems Graduates of this program have a thorough understanding of the role of Information Systems within an organization and of how the systems can be used to support management functions. Information is seen as a critical factor that enables managers and organizations to gain and maintain the competitive edge. Graduates of the program are prepared to function in management positions within IS departments. Through a syllabus combining several key courses from the MBA program with courses concerning information systems, our graduates are prepared to develop their careers in the global marketplace. Structure of the program: The MIS programs consists of three ten-week terms. Language: English Length: One year full-time or two years part-time Schedule: Weekdays every evening Number of subjects: 15 Admissions Requirements: Bachelor Degree, GMAT Teaching Methods Students at IMI are taught in a pragmatic way with the use of simulation techniques and up-to-date case studies. They also learn to think strategically when making decisions, to emphasize with their peers, to inspire teamwork and team building, and to contribute to the success of a project. Thinking creatively and independently by questioning, rather than blindly accepting subject material, is strongly encouraged. Throughout the academic year, students are given a number of assignments and tests so that their progress can be assessed. Faculty Lecturers are recruited from around the world and bring with them considerable international business experience.
